Armis Amplifies Cybersecurity Leadership by Appointing Patrick McCue as Global SVP

Summary

Armis hires a partner chief

Armis, the cyber exposure management and security company, has appointed Patrick McCue as Senior Vice President of Global Partners. The March 18, 2025 announcement is part of what the company calls a partner-first strategy.

McCue will lead Armis’ work with resellers, managed service providers, systems integrators and marketplace providers. Armis’ announcement points to his record of growing revenue through partnerships.

What the job covers

McCue’s role is to expand partner engagement and increase partner-driven revenue and services, so joint customers can manage their cyber risk exposure in real time.

“Patrick’s proven track record in successfully driving growth through strategic partnerships makes him the ideal leader to scale Armis’ partner ecosystem and bring even greater value to our partners and customers,” said Alex Mosher, President of Armis.

Why partners matter to Armis

Armis sells much of its platform through channel partners in its Armis Partner Experience (APEX) program. That gives the partner chief a large say in how fast the company grows.

Armis’ platform, Armis Centrix, gives customers visibility into managed, unmanaged and Internet of Things (IoT) devices. Partners help deploy it inside large companies and government agencies.

A company on a growth run

The hire follows a strong year. Armis said it passed $200 million in annual recurring revenue over the previous 12 months, closed a new funding round and completed three acquisitions.

McCue said in the announcement that partners extend the reach of Armis’ platform to more organizations. He wants to grow it.

What to watch

McCue’s job is to turn Armis’ partner program into more revenue. Watch for new channel deals and managed service partnerships over the coming quarters.

For partners already selling Armis, the appointment means a new executive to work with and, likely, new incentives to push the platform.
