Summary

Introduction: What Synechron Announced

On April 2, 2025, Synechron, a New York-based digital transformation consulting firm, announced its Synechron CyberAI accelerators program. The suite of four AI-driven solutions is meant to help large companies tighten security and cut compliance work through automation. Synechron works mainly with banks and other financial services firms.

The Four Accelerators

RiskControl.AI automates IT risk management with real-time control assessments and compliance insights. AppSec.AI gives a single view of application vulnerabilities to help teams decide what to fix first. Resolve.AI sorts incidents so the most serious ones get attention first. Validate.AI protects generative AI models with guardrails that detect prompt injection, data and privacy leakage, and insecure output handling.

Faisal Husain, co-founder and CEO of Synechron, said the company “identified a gap where businesses struggled to keep pace with the speed and complexity of cyber threats,” and that CyberAI fills it with AI-powered automation that can scale and adapt.

Faster Detection and Triage

Many security teams are buried in alerts and manual reviews. Synechron’s pitch is that AI can do the first pass: spotting patterns and ranking risks, so people spend their time on the problems that matter. Speed is the point.

Built for Large Enterprises

The accelerators are designed to be adapted to each client’s systems and rules, which matters in regulated industries such as banking. Synechron says they can plug into existing risk, development and incident tools instead of replacing them.

Sandeep Kumar, Synechron’s head of FinLabs, said CyberAI aims to give companies tools to anticipate and address security problems “before they become crises.”

The Case for Automation

Security and compliance work is labor-intensive, and skilled staff are hard to hire. Automation can take on routine assessment and triage, and it gets better as it sees more data. The open question with any AI tool is accuracy. Teams still need people to check results and make final calls.

Synechron’s Place in the Market

Synechron is a consulting firm, not a pure security vendor. Its accelerators are prebuilt starting points that its consultants customize for clients. That puts it alongside other large consultancies offering AI-assisted security services.

In August 2025 the company expanded the program with three more accelerators covering vendor risk, data security and infrastructure security.

The Takeaway

Synechron’s CyberAI program reflects a broad trend: using AI to automate routine security work for large enterprises. The Validate.AI piece stands out because it targets a newer problem, the security of generative AI itself. Buyers should judge the tools on measurable results, such as faster remediation and fewer missed incidents, rather than on the label.
