Two new services from Singtel and Palo Alto Networks

Singtel and Palo Alto Networks announced two new enterprise security services on March 3, 2025. Both build security into Singtel’s network.

Unified SASE Convergence

The first, Unified SASE Convergence, runs on Palo Alto Networks’ Prisma SASE. It combines SD-WAN networking with AI-powered threat intelligence and Singtel’s SIM-based authentication to verify users and IoT devices. Delivered on a cloud-native architecture, it aims to let companies secure branch offices and devices from one platform.

5G Security-as-a-Slice

The second expands Singtel’s 5G Security-as-a-Slice service, which uses Palo Alto Networks’ next-generation firewall inside a dedicated slice of the 5G network. The new version protects employees who roam onto foreign networks, where they may face surveillance, hacking and other threats.

Why the region matters

Asia-Pacific businesses are digitizing quickly. Attackers have followed, and Singtel’s regional network reach combined with Palo Alto Networks’ threat prevention tools gives enterprises a way to add protection without hiring a large security team or stitching together products from several vendors on their own.

What the services cover

Together, the offerings cover advanced threat prevention, data protection and end-to-end cloud security for companies with mobile workers, branch sites and connected devices.
