AML Incubator launches Bitpulse Cyber for fintech security

A security shop for regulated startups

AML Incubator, a Vancouver firm that helps fintech companies with regulatory compliance, announced Bitpulse Cyber on March 25, 2025. It sells security and compliance help. The target customers are fintech and blockchain businesses that need security leadership but can’t justify a full in-house team of their own.

What Bitpulse is

Founders and mission

Bitpulse was founded by experienced security professionals together with AML Incubator’s team. The idea is simple. Take the practical, outsourced approach AML Incubator already uses for compliance work and apply it to cybersecurity.

Services

Bitpulse offers four main services: CISO-as-a-Service, managed defense and compliance (including SOC 2, ISO and Canadian regulatory certifications), risk assessments, penetration tests and audits for Web2 and Web3 environments, and incident response. The pitch is senior expertise without the cost of a full-time hire.

Fractional security for small firms

Security for small firms

Security has long been treated as something only large companies could afford to do properly. Bitpulse is betting that smaller regulated firms will pay for fractional, outsourced help instead.

“Too many companies are stuck between off-the-shelf cybersecurity tools and expensive consultants who don’t understand the industry. Bitpulse exists to fix that,” said Haik Kazarian, Bitpulse’s head of business development.

Why fintech needs it

Fintech and crypto firms handle money and customer data, and regulators expect them to protect both. One breach can end a startup. Outsourced services like these give smaller firms access to protection that used to be out of reach for anyone without a large budget.

What comes next for Bitpulse

Growing without losing focus

Bitpulse’s challenge will be to grow while keeping its services practical and affordable. Attack methods change constantly. Its offerings will have to keep up.

Teaching clients the basics

Bitpulse also plans to help clients understand good security practice, so their own staff are better prepared for attacks.

Will smaller firms buy?

Bitpulse enters a crowded market of managed security providers and fractional CISO services. Its edge is a focus on fintech and blockchain firms and a link to AML Incubator’s compliance clients. Whether smaller regulated companies sign up in numbers will decide how far it gets.
