INE tops G2’s training rankings

Training provider INE has been named a 2025 Cybersecurity Training Leader by G2, the software review site. It earned the title in G2’s Spring 2025 reports. INE was a Grid Leader in three categories and collected 12 badges in all.

How G2 ranks training providers

G2 scores companies on reviews from verified users and on market presence, which it measures with data such as company size, web traffic and social reach. A Grid Leader badge means a product scored high on both. It is not a lab test.

The 2025 badges extend a run of good reviews for INE.

Labs over lectures

INE is known for hands-on labs and practice environments rather than slide decks, and learners at every level, from beginners to experienced security staff, use them to rehearse attacks and defenses on machines they are allowed to break.

Who builds the courses

INE’s courses are written by working security professionals and instructors. Its certification paths include penetration testing and incident response.

INE also offers its own certifications through its eLearnSecurity brand, which many students take after completing the matching course.

A crowded market

Cybersecurity training is a crowded field. Large course platforms and specialist providers compete for the same learners and the same corporate training budgets, so ranking at the top of G2’s grid gives INE a marketing edge it will use.

G2 also gave INE Momentum Leader recognition in the same categories, which tracks growth in reviews and user satisfaction.

What the G2 badges mean for buyers

G2’s badges reflect what users say, not an independent test of course quality. For buyers, they are a useful starting point for comparing providers.

Learners and training managers should still try a provider’s free content and labs before committing, and check whether the courses map to the certifications they need.
